Introduction of corten steel sheet weather resistant steel plate:
Corten steel sheet weather resistant steel plate, i.e. atmospheric corrosion-resistant steel, is a low-alloy steel series between ordinary steel and stainless steel. Corten steel sheet weather resistant steel plate is made of ordinary carbon steel with a small amount of corrosion-resistant elements such as copper and nickel. It has the characteristics of toughness, plasticity, forming, welding and cutting, abrasion, high temperature and fatigue resistance of high-quality steel. The weathering resistance of corten steel is 2-8 times of ordinary carbon steel, and the coating performance is 1.5-10 times of ordinary carbon steel. At the same time, corten steel sheet weather resistant steel plate has the characteristics of rust resistance, corrosion resistance, life extension, thinning and consumption reduction, labor saving and energy saving.
Compared with ordinary carbon steel, corten steel sheet weather resistant steel plate has better corrosion resistance in the atmosphere. Compared with stainless steel, corten steel sheet weather resistant steel plate has only a small amount of alloy elements, such as phosphorus, copper, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, niobium, vanadium, titanium, etc. the total amount of alloy elements only accounts for a few percent, and unlike stainless steel, it reaches more than ten percent, so the price of corten steel sheet weather resistant steel plate is relatively lower.
